Microsoft announces End of Product Support for Windows XP
According to a recent statement from Microsoft, April 8, 2014 will mark the last day of product support for Windows XP. This includes any and all support for XP, such as automatic updates from Windows Update and all technical support.
Due to these changes, IT Xchange will no longer be able to offer or pre-install Windows XP on our orders. Customers who are already using XP on their machines can continue to do so, but we stress that those who choose to continue using XP may be at risk for security issues and viruses. The discontinuation of support for Windows XP may also lead to software compatibility issues with newer programs.
